Panther
Catch my Arms, the Wings of Flight
Behold my Struggle to Flee this Fight.
On and On the Battle Storms.
Leaving me the Loser, Lost and Torn.
Reach and Enfold me in Protective Sheen
A Sleek Deep Black Seldom Seen.
A Coat of Breathing, Loving Strength,
A Coat that Wraps around my Length.
Rest Awhile, Feel the Heat
Bask in the Animal Who Kindly Treats.
Close the Eyes and Hear Her Purr
And Let the World Slide to a Blur.
